Catcliffe Churches
St. Faith's, an iron church was erected in 1895 to seat 250, adjacent was a burial ground. Rev. Francis Garden Mitchell, M.A. of St. Johns College, Cambridge was curate from 1899.
The Church of St. Mary was erected in 1910 in place of the iron church. It was in the late Gothic style consisting of nave, transept and chancel.
There was room for 310 and services were conducted by the Vicar of St. Georges, Brinsworth.
The Wesleyan Chapel was built in 1869 at a cost of £450.
The Methodist Church, Catcliffe, originally opened in 1906 as a Primitive Methodist Chapel at a cost of £430.
