Weekend Road Accident

9th December 1935

A motor car which ran into a crowd of people waiting to board a tramcar after the driver had collapsed and died caused serious injuries to Arthur Osbourne, 38, of Retford Road, Sheffield, who is in Sheffield Royal Infirmary with multiple injuries to head, legs, and arms.

The driver of the motor car was Mr. H. Simmons, 72, a salesman, of Rother Valley Collieries, and living at Maine Road, Fence, near Swallownest, Sheffield.
