John Rodger, buried at Handsworth 8 June, 1651 married Margaret Parkin, at Handsworth, 30 September, 1604. They had a son Thomas c. Handsworth 16 April 1607 who married Sarah buried 6 September, 1648.
Thomas Rodger, son of Thomas and Sarah above, of Handsworth Woodhouse, baptized 11 October, 1638 died 6 October, 1727, aged 89, and was buried at Handsworth.

- Robert Rodger of Treeton, ancestor of the Rodgers of Inkersell, Staveley, Derbys, married Martha dau of Joshua Birks of Handsworth Woodhouse, yeoman on 19 April, 1732. Martha died 28 Nov 1761 age 51
