Notes re Wm Johnson²:
William Johnson married Mary Gregory in 1912, 2 years after the death of her first husband,
Walter Gagen, who died in 1910.
William's other daughter Mary Johnson married Walter, son of Walter Gagen and Mary Gregory(Nee Gagen).
William Johnson's father was Henry Johnson the blacksmith of Aughton. He was also a local preacher on the Methodist circuit for Aston & Aughton.
