Treeton Reading Rooms

The Reading Rooms. In 1911 a branch of the Yorkshire Bank operated from here

Treeton House

Treeton House, in 1910,the home of Dr. John D Kenny.The only freehold not held by Duke of Norfolk. From 1912 was occupied by colliery officials.Demolished in 1960's

 

Treeton House

Treeton Hall and House. A georgian house with columned front porch and bow fronted windows. In 1743 the Rector of Todwick, Hammond Turner, resided here

Treeton Rectory. In 1792 there was a wing on the church side.Was reconstructed between 1809-46 and again between 1846/7.Rev. B Watkins(1846) had 21 children to accomodate here.
