Features
Dr. Coram Evans
Dr. Evans lived with his wife Nanetta and three children at The Poplars on Wood Lane, which at that time was the last house in the village before it broke into rolling wheat fields owned by the local farmer, Jim Alton.
Dr. Evans was the local doctor in Treeton from the late 1940's until his death in 1967.
After Dr. Evans' death, Nanetta (Nettie) and his youngest son, Jeremy, continued living at the Poplars until she remarried in 1972, when they left Treeton and moved to Worksop.
