1949 Production of Cinderella by Margaret Carter
This was at Treeton on January 13th, 14th, 15th, and February 10th 1949. It was staged at Swallownest Welfare Hall for Fence Church on January 26th and at the Church Hall for Aston Church on February 5th.

PANTOMIME - A pantomime Cinderella was presented by members of the Treeton Methodist Social Club in the Methodist Schoolroom on Thursday and Friday evenings, and there will be a third performance tonight. The proceeds are for Church and Club Funds. The show is produced by Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Havard, joint leaders of the club. The cast comprises members of the club as follows:

Pianists are M. Morgan and E. Wood, and stage manager P. Harper, assisted by Mr. W. Harper. Interval items are given by
Biga E. D. Hitchen,
Banga, A. Rodgers, and
Bongo, W. H. Hinchliffe, and humerous monologues by R. Cox.
The whole of the scenery was made and painted by Messrs. W. Harper and P. Harper.
The show which has been greatly appreciated by full houses, reflects great credit on the producers and artists. Mr. Havard, who has expressed thanks to all who have assisted, states that all seats are booked up for tonight's show. He is highly satisfied with the results of this first attempt at anything of this nature.

ASTON CHURCH RESTORATION FUND - Treeton Methodist Social Club presented to a full house, Margaret Carter's Cinderella, in the Church Hall, Swallownest, last Saturday, in aid of the Aston Church Restoration Fund.
The proceeds, which amounted to £20, were earmarked for the Memorial Chapel.
The show is produced by Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Havard, and Mr. J. Holmes was stage manager, and there were a number of back-stage helpers.
The pianists were M. Morgan and E. Wood, and the cast was as follows:
