In 1822 George Foers was landlord of the Three Magpies
From the Sheffield Trades Directory of 1833 - a Jsh. Morrell was landlord of the Three Magpies
The Three Magpies was later re-named The White Swan. It was situated on Cock Holme, behind the War Memorial.
The licensee is noted as J. Hill in 1852. John Hill later moved to Whiston.
The last landlord was J. W. Foers.
