Peter Perry
Peter Perry was born in Treeton in 1936 where his family were active members of Treeton Baptist Church.
In 1947 he took part in the Sports Day at Treeton and won the boys obstacle race.
He began playing with Treeton Red Rose before joining Rotherham United in 1958, where he made a total of 122 league appearances scoring 12 goals.
He was transferred to York City in 1962.
